Ōtaki Summer Camp is for young people (17 – 30* years old) who care about political issues and ideas. It is a chance to hear and discuss interesting ideas, meet and get to know others who care, and explore local mountains, forests and rivers with experienced guides.
Thanks to the generosity of Ōtaki locals, we have been able to keep the cost reasonably low. Each ticket costs $95 and includes evening entertainment, kai (food), and accommodation (either a spot to pitch your tent or shared marae-style sleeping arrangements).
Registrations have now closed, but you may join the waitlist.
* If you’re a little over 30, please feel free to come along. However, if you are under 17 or over 35 please make a special application to attend.

Children & Whanau
We think it’s important that parents and guardians can participate in our event and welcome whānau groups. Children can attend at no cost, though please consider giving a koha (donation) if you are able.
Sponsor a scholarship
It’s important to us that our camp is accessible. By providing scholarship places, we hope to include people who may be otherwise unable to attend. Help support our vision for an inclusive camp by sponsoring a scholarship with your ticket.
